This required reading the scripts and amending incorrect dialogue, as well as suggesting more appropriate dialogue given to the police characters.

Case File: I met with a Producer and Director to work through a storyline involving a main character and his involvement with police at Stonehenge. The story had him detained and taken to a police station, but the script was vague as to WHY he was being detained.
I spent time discussing what the character would have been detained for and the rationale behind police actions.

Case File: Met with one of the main cast before filming the first series, to refine their character and provide background to his motivations.
The script had only given the character as 'middle aged detective' without fleshing out further. I spent time suggesting a backstory for the character, taking into account his age, and probable time left in the Police Service.

Case File: Worked with the Production Team creating the police and CID environment.
The Art Department had to create a lifelike CID office, including logos, badges, and signage and I was able to use my experience to provide this information.

The Lost Honour of Christopher Jefferies (ITV)
Case File: Worked with Production refining and correcting the screenplay prior to filming. I read through the screenplay and quickly identified incorrect dialogue and scenes which would not have been appropriate, bearing in mind this was a story based on, and using real life scenarios.
I also provided on set advice and experience during critical custody location filming, including how the character would be in his cell, and on taking DNA and fingerprints.

Case File: Assisted the Director on custody scenes during the 2026 filming season.
While working on set in another capacity, both the director and Assistant Director asked questions about custody procedures and how certain characters would behave and be treated in that environment.
