Personal biography

I served as a police officer with Avon and Somerset Constabulary from 1996 until my retirement in 2019. During that time, I worked across multiple Bristol stations, first as a uniformed Police Constable, and later as a Response Team Sergeant and Custody Sergeant in a large urban custody suite, dealing with serious and complex offenders.

During my service I was involved in many dangerous situations and received a Humane Society Reward for bravery, as well a Chief Officer Commendations.

During my service I was an Unarmed Defence Instructor, teaching police officers of all ranks how to defend themselves using their batons, handcuffs, PAVA incapacitant spray.

Alongside being a police officer, I have gained many years of experience in front of tv and film cameras as a Supporting Artist (or 'extra'), working on everything from daytime soaps, to big budget tent-pole feature films, so gaining valuable knowledge of the film making procedures.

I maintain a valid DBS.

Receiving my Long Service and Good Conduct Award and medal from Chief Constable Andy Marsh in 2016.
